Taraji P Henson & viola davis cover ELLE special issue

Award-winning actresses Viola Davis & Taraji P. Henson have covered ELLE’s annual “Women In TV” issue for 2016.
Olivia WildeVeep’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra were the other actresses chosen for this year’s edition.
The actresses spoke about a wide range of topics concerning Hollywood, with How To Get Away With Murder star Davis talking about TV and female sexuality.
“If you are anywhere above a size 2, you’re not having sex,” Davis told the magazine. “You don’t have sexual thoughts. You may not even have a vagina. And if you’re of a certain age, you’re off the table.”
Empire star Henson spoke about the scarcity of good roles in the industry, and her award winning role as Cookie Lyon.
“Go to the movies — how many good scripts are you really seeing out there?” she asked. “Not tons of them.”
“It was very important to me that she not be sassy and neck-rollin’ and eye-bulgin’ and attitude all the time,” she added about playing Cookie. “Everything she does is coming from a place of fighting for her family. That’s why she’s not a caricature.”
